I am an accredited counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), with more than ten years of experience supporting clients across a broad spectrum of emotional and psychological difficulties. Based in the United Kingdom, I also work internationally with adult clients (18+), offering online therapy via video or phone in both English and Romanian.
My practice is grounded in a pluralistic philosophy, which recognises that different clients need different things at different times. There is no single “right” way to heal or grow. Instead, each person brings their own history, strengths, identity, and ways of making sense of the world. I believe deeply in the client’s agency - your capacity to choose, to influence the direction of therapy, and to shape the pace and style of our work together. My role is to be present with you while you work through what’s on your mind and make sense of your thoughts and feelings, offering attuned support at every step, and collaborating with you to find what feels most helpful, meaningful, and effective.
Drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy and third-wave approaches (such as mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and compassion-focused work), I combine evidence-based methods in a flexible and responsive way, adapted to your needs. I also incorporate psychoeducation where useful, helping clients understand the psychological processes behind their experiences so they can feel more empowered and informed. Every session is tailored to your needs, goals, and preferences, whether you are seeking deeper exploration, practical tools, emotional processing, or a combination of approaches.
I am committed to providing a warm, safe, and nonjudgemental therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and affirmed in their identity. My work is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-aware, bringing sensitivity and specialist understanding to clients whose experiences require nuanced, attuned support.
Across my clinical career, I have supported individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, depression, attachment difficulties, confidence and self-esteem concerns, caregiver strain, relationship problems, sexuality and gender-related issues, PTSD, loneliness, women’s issues, and workplace challenges.
